Thank you for contacting me with your concerns regarding TRICARE. I appreciate hearing from you on this important matter.
I share your concerns about keeping TRICARE affordable. You may be interested to know that this year Congress passed legislation, the Medicare Improvements for Patients and Providers Act of 2008 (HR 6331), which prevented a 10.6 percent cut in TRICARE reimbursement rates to doctors. If Congress had allowed these rates to be cut, fewer doctors would have been able to provide medical services for members of the military and their families. Additionally, the FY09 Defense Authorization Act (S.3001), which was signed into law on October 14, 2008, bars increases in pharmacy co-pays or retiree fees for TRICARE 2009. In the weeks and months ahead, I will continue to work with my colleagues to try to improve TRICARE.

Even the Russians are providing evidence that we are not entering a period of GLOBAL WARMING. All the hype about the human caused global warming is a lie designed to get certain laws and conditions in place so the governments can exercise more control over its population by dictating all manners of energy use. Most of these laws will severely impact everyone’s way of life and Al Gore won the “Nobel Prize” for his movie!? In my opinion, the Nobel Prize now means nothing as long as it is awarded to people such as Al Gore who obviously has a nefarious agenda to fulfill.
