WHITE HOUSE AID GETS FIRED OVER AIR FORCE 1 PHOTO OP……HUH???

WHO REALLY AUTHORIZED THIS MISSION?

WHO REALLY AUTHORIZED THIS MISSION?

So, here is what we got out of the AF 1 photo flight…. Ok folks here’s the back info on this situation you may not know. This stunt supposedly cost us taxpayers $329,000.00. Well, that is just the normal operating costs of that bird. I don’t know exactly what all “costs” they used to come up with the final tally but the vast majority of those costs would consist of fuel, maintenance, photo processing (maybe, could be done my military labs) and wages of all personnel involved with these two aircraft. Ok, wages,……the vast majority of people involved are active duty military (Pilots, Ground People ect). Thus these wages are non sequitur and should not apply as those people are paid whether they are at work or at home. The fuel, true, could have been burned for a more important mission. Maintenance, this is a very expensive airplane to maintain and required constant work. This occurs routinely but this flight may have caused additional work as it is flight time on the airframe. That’s really about it for costs. How do I know? I’m retired Air Force, duuuhhhhh. Now, the report that a WH aid has the authority to do this, I find unbelievable. This guy has the authority to send, what used to be called a “Priority A” Resource into the air. That just doesn’t hold water. My belief is that the person who did this was in fact Rohm Emanuel and this poor schmuck had to “fall on the sword” to save Emanuel’s ass…….Just my opinion. Click the pic to go to the story.
