LETTER TO THE SENATE MINORITY LEADER MITCH MCCONNELL AND THE SENATE MINORITY WHIP JON KYL REGARDING THE KAGEN SCOTUS APPOINTMENT (note: I don’t write Murray and Cantwell anymore because it they are a lost cause and do not listen to us Conservatives)

We are at a critical time in our history, where unfortunately, the long-term fate of our democracy is at stake.  Our nation was founded on the rock solid principles that our Founding Fathers enumerated in the plethora of historical documents, we, as a nation hold inviolate and sacred.  These of course are the Constitution, Bill of Rights, The Declaration of Independence and, as I like to include, the Federalist Papers.  The Framers of these documents were very wise and went to great pains to put in place all manner of checks and balances so as to “short-circuit” a runaway, out of control, over-reaching Federal Government.  In the succession of generations and administrations, we, as a nation have been called to arms in order to protect our fledgling Democracy.  Hundreds of thousands of American men and women were called to duty and many gave all in order to preserve our way of life and push back the forces that wish to see our nation falter and fall.  We won those battles, at great cost, but now it is evident that we are in another war in the battle for Democracy, and unfortunately, it is being waged against us by the very politicians we citizens have entrusted to “preserve, protect and defend the very Constitution they, themselves, swore to defend.   Now more than ever, it seems that some members of Congress and other non-elected bureaucrats have been concerning themselves, not with measured, prudent, limited governance, but with inventing means to circumvent the a fore-mentioned foundational documents.  This practice has never been more evident and in open practice than the situation we find ourselves in today.  It is becoming readily apparent that the current administration is intent on taking whatever action, constitutional or not, they feel is necessary to further the socialist/liberal nanny-state agenda.  As we have witnessed over the last 18 months, the closed/locked door, back room dealings by the Democrat majority, has been unprecedented and in my view, unethical.  They have used every ploy at their disposal to circumvent the aforementioned check and balances as reported today regarding a leaked memo outlining how the current administration can circumvent the required congressional involvement regarding the illegal immigrant issue.  This administration is actively investigating methods they could use to shelter the Democrats in congress from the citizens’ ire at the polls, and still get their agenda enacted regarding illegal immigrant amnesty, which by the way the vast majority of Americans disapprove of.  This is the battle we face today.  We have an out of control Democrat party that must be reigned in and hobbled until the November mid-term elections.

In my opinion there are some duties that are required of the GOP at this point.  And in order to stop this Liberal Democrat agenda, the GOP MUST draw a line in the sand, not to be crossed.  And that line is, not allowing any more Democrat or Liberal assaults against the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.  The GOP must do whatever is necessary to protect and further our foundational conservative framework that has allowed this country to grow and flourish.  The GOP must stand “shoulder to shoulder”, and go “toe to toe” with the liberal Democrats whose intent is to undermine our conservative values.  It is for these reasons, I feel that the GOP must filibuster the Kagen nomination.  As blatantly demonstrated on the 28th of July, 2010, by the Clinton appointed Judge Susan Bolton’s ruling issued regarding the Arizona illegal immigration law, the court system has been tilted in favor of the liberal agenda.  It is clear the vast majority of Americans are in favor of this Bill, however, the liberal court system stands in the way.  With that in mind, can we afford to have another activist, liberal Judge fighting against the Conservative values?  I think not.  Especially, not on the highest court of the land, The Supreme Court of the United States.  These unrelenting, calculating appointments of liberal/activists potential Judges must be blocked at all costs.  The future of our nation depends on it and we Conservatives are expecting you and the rest of the GOP to draw that line in the sand and do what is right, prudent and necessary at this point in our history.  We Conservatives are watching the events in Wash. DC very closely and we see who is courageous enough to take up the fight, who always seeks compromise, and who crumbles at the first sign of name-calling and race-baiting.  We want need, to win this battle for our Democracy, and we cannot do it with compromise.  If there is any compromising to be done, it must be done on the Liberal/Democrat side of the aisle, not the Conservative/Republican side.  The GOP must be willing to play “hard-ball” as are the Liberals, and not be afraid to get down in the mud and slug it out, so to speak.  We voters will reward the fighters and those who stand firm on principal, justice and the belief in small, limited Federal authority as authorized by the Constitution.  Conversely, the others will be punished and will find their re-election bids to be fraught with hardship and find nothing but disappointment and loss at the polls.

As mentioned earlier, the long term survivability of our Democracy is at stake and make no mistake, there are forces working fervently to undermine it.  We’re counting on you to stand firm with us and fight the good fight.

Thank You

With all due respect, a well written letter but unless you are willing to make a huge donation to Mitch McConnell’s non-profit Center for Political Leadership or to his campaign funds and want something earmarked, this letter will go un-noticed and will end up in the circular file along with anything else that shows up on his desk without a blank check or at least one that has a six figure amount on it. http://www.crewsmostcorrupt.org/summaries/mcconnell.php Democrats, Republicans, Liberals or Conservatives have no voice to these politicians unless there is corruption involved, period. All politicians will continue on their agenda just as Angelo M.Codevilla states in his “American Ruling Class and the Perils of Revolution” article. How true and sobering his article is. Once any politician is elected for office, they have crossed the line into corruption (theft, bribery, lies, fraud, perversion, government) and there will be no turning back. ALL politicians cannot be trusted, period.
This Mitch McConnell has to be laughing all the way to the bank making upwards to $200K plus bonuses every year and this goes without mentioning free health care and enormous retirement. As far as this Jon Kyl, well, everyone has a few skeletons in their closet, so what can I say? He’s a politician.

I am aware of the fact that he may not read my letter, simply because I am not one of his constituents. But, even with that possibility and the fact that writing my 2 democrat Senators is a waste of time because they are drones, I am forced to do all I can, even if that is writing other Senators and Congressmen. I have to do something……I can’t just sit back and not do anything. I’m sure you’d agree, something, is better than nothing huh? It’s that important……

    Dear Leader McConnell,

As a former resident of Mayfield, Kentucky, I was glad to see you decide to support the ban on earmarks. The arguement that earmarks only direct spending and don’t inflate the budget would be true if the budget was truely a fixed amount. Unfortunately, the budget is anything but fixed, with over-runs being the norm. Also, It’s time to end the “food stamp” economy of congress using earmarks as legal tender to buy and sell favors.

    Thank you,
